Bike Tech
Safety wired fluid drain and reservoir plugs, fuel overflow catch container, coolant overflow catch container, crankcase breather lines must be routed into the air box or catch container. G&J Kartway & East Lansing Kart Track require bar end, peg and frame/axle sliders (MIMRA honestly believes in this ruling 100%)! Proper engine kill switch.
Safety Gear
Full road race suits are preferred. Motocross gear is fine but you must wear body armor with a spine protector. Over the ankle motorcycle boots any style, full face helmet with non-removable chin bar, gauntlet style motorcycle gloves with wrist protection, proper eye protection i.e.; goggles with MX style helmet. Back protectors are always encouraged.
Typical Bikes
Any year of motorized bike that is 50cc to 450cc. Multiple racers race bikes from the early 80’s, you don’t have to have a high dollar bike to have fun racing!
